We live in an overstimulated society.
I believe nearly everyone is suffering some kind of adrenal issue. Whether or not that affects their daily lives and function is dependent on a variety of other factors.
Even for the individual who is very nervous system and adrenal informed, they are dealing with some level of unhealthy activation because of the constant stimulation of our world, which we are not equipped to endure.
Just like managing health, diet, movement and exercise, and/or healing any type of illness with any other protocol, adrenals and nervous system should play a vital role because they DO play a vital role in how you feel and how well you function.
A lot of people are burnt out and have been running too hard for too long.
And a lot of us are running a constant survival stress state due to childhood trauma or other types of trauma and traumatic experiences that have not been expressed or processed through the system.
But there’s good news…
When we are able to bring awareness to our current existing state, a lot of healing happens.
When we are able to notice that our system is not fully resting, there are things we can do to either express activation out or bring the system into regulation.
I do this for myself and with my clients using a variety of different tools and practices.
